Our journey in Temple began as a four-year job commitment, but that was twenty-five years ago—and aside from a wonderful season spent in Malawi, we simply never left. Temple quickly captured our hearts with its perfect blend of warm community spirit and easy access to the world beyond.
Since we both grew up in homes where the door was always open and the table was always full, welcoming others is simply in our DNA. For us, operating short-term rentals is more than a business; it’s a way to keep our love for travel and connection alive. We thrive on the joy of meeting new people and sharing the hospitality we hold so dear. We can’t wait to share a piece of our "home" with you!
Our Inspiration: The Flame Tree
Growing up in Nigeria, Sara fell in love with the Flamboyant tree, or "Flame tree"—a stunning burst of crimson that blooms at the height of the dry season when the rest of the landscape is a dusty brown. To us, this vibrant tree is more than just a memory; it’s a symbol of the resilience and beauty found in every corner of the globe. Whether we are discovering a new culture, tasting local flavors, or meeting new faces on our travels, the Flame tree reminds us of the incredible vibrance the world has to offer.
